"IDentidad" 45 Minute Live Art Performance
IDentidad/Identity is an exploration of Latino identity issues through the art of Sergio Gomez. He will be creating a work of art before a live audience.
Sergio Gomez is a Mexican born visual artist who has experienced first hand the challenges and joys of coming to the United States as a teenager. Consequently, he began to redefine his identity as a Mexican as well as an American in an attempt to acculturate without compromising his own self. Mr. Gomez is a faculty member at South Suburban College’s Art/Design Department.
