Under The Winter Snow

Each winter, I release a series of small works. This year’s works deal with winter as a metaphor for the refugee crisis we are facing today. For thousands of people, including women, children and the elderly, this is a season of uncertainty as they embark on a dangerous journey. Under the Winter Snow is a series of eleven works on wood. Several of them include a collaged image of the refugee crisis found in TIME magazine. All the works include one word relevant to their stories.
